The Kaodim Guarantee for Long Distance Moving is as follows:
Reimburse the Service User up to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount paid to the Service Professional provided that amount does not exceed the amount of RM1600 following an investigation which may include enquiries with the Service Professional (“Reimbursement”)
In order to be eligible for the Kaodim Guarantee, the Service User must submit the Kaodim Guarantee Claim Form:
(i) within thirty one (31) days of the date the Service Request was submitted; and
(ii) within twenty four (24) hours from the date of the moving service was carried out where the service provider was unsatisfactory.
The amount of the Kaodim Guarantee only covers any payment the Service User made to the Service Professional within the scope and timeframe of the original base price for the Service Request submitted on Kaodim. It does not cover Services performed as a result of a variation, extension, repetition or recurrence of the original Service request. It does not cover additional services and items requested in the Service Request submitted beyond what is provided in the base price. The Kaodim Guarantee does not apply to any other cost, liability, damage, injury or claim of any kind arising from or in connection with the Service performed by the Service Professionals. For clarity, the Kaodim Guarantee only applies to Service fees or labour cost and does not apply to governmental taxes and any payments made for goods, items, materials and does not apply to damages and scratches to goods/items being transported, or in the event goods/items are stolen or missing. For the avoidance of doubt the Kaodim Guarantee solely applies to payments made for the Service Professional to perform the Service.
Provision of this compensation is a discretionary and gratuitous gesture of goodwill on the part of Kaodim and does not in any way create any liability towards the performance of Services rendered by the Service Professional.
